Weather Forecast

This morning, while watching the news, I heard a term I had never heard before... freezing fog.  I've done some research on it, and I'm still a little unclear about it.  But it seems normal fog often moistens the surface and can even have droplets associated with it, which means that freezing fog can cover surfaces with a thin layer of ice.

This morning, the frost was so heavy that when I stepped off the curb, I almost slipped!  And we haven't had rain for days!

This is NOT a photo from me, but rather one I borrowed from the internet to try and illustrate freezing fog!

The nice thing is though, all of those lovely jumpers (sweaters) that rarely get worn at home are getting worn! :)
