Normalcy

After a whirlwind few hours in chilly London including the British Museum, Covent Gardens and Westminster Abbey then a delicious meal at a local pub, we came back to the flat for some normalcy.

Mack is my first cousin, but often took on the big brother role quite well. Stephanie, his wife, was my roommate for a couple of years and is the closest thing that I've got to a sister. At home, we spend a lot of time together, much of it being very "informal," especially after Mils, my adorable nephew, came into this world. So, coming back to the flat and playing Wii tennis and bowling was an absolutely perfect way for us to end a great, busy day. And I even got my first turkey (three strikes in a row); perhaps that bowling class at Auburn actually paid off!

The normalcy of laughter with family while playing a silly game in our pajamas was just wonderful.
