Before coming to England, I knew that one of my goals was to see the tulip fields in Holland. With a week off in April, I decided that was a great time to go and see them. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and got to see lots of flowers, but sadly, the fields were not in bloom due to the prolonged winter in the region. I thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise though; it was a wonderful way to see several places along the waterway without having to move my things or worry about how to get from place to place!

These gardens are only open for a few months in the spring every year, which means they want visitors to see the tulips, even if that just means they bring out boxes from the greenhouse and put them in the pathways! :) |
